🌟 Success Story 🌟

A traineeship can be the first step towards a successful and rewarding career, offering hands-on experience, professional development and opportunities for future growth.

Our Business Administration Trainees work alongside experienced professionals while completing a nationally recognised qualification, gaining the practical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace. Along the way, they form lasting connections, expand their professional networks and grow both personally and professionally. 🤝✨

Many of our trainees go on to secure ongoing employment with Council, continuing to develop their skills and build rewarding careers within local government. 🌱

🙌 Today, we're hearing from Shayna, who began her journey with Council straight after Year 12 through a Business Administration Traineeship and has since secured a full-time position.

🌟 Thank you to Emmaus College for having us attend their Subject selection evening last Wednesday!

It was a fantastic opportunity to share insights into the employment opportunities available at Council, discuss the value of work experience and showcase the diverse range of careers within local government. From trades and administration to engineering, planning, community services and more, we enjoyed highlighting the many pathways available and answering students' questions about life at Council.

We loved speaking with so many enthusiastic students about their interests, aspirations and future goals, and helping them learn more about the opportunities that can help kickstart their careers. 💡✨

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. It was wonderful to meet you all and be part of such an important stage in your career journey. 😊
