Huge success with yesterday’s African Cultural Celebration event!! 🎊

Led by African Communities Working Group, supported by JAMMA & CMY , this event brought together Melton residents from various communities to engage in African music, drumming, cultural dances followed by amazing African food! 🪘 🎶 🥘

Thank you to our supporters Deputy Mayor Phillip Zada and Councillors Cr Brandi Morris John Verdon, Bob Turner and Julie Shannon, we appreciate you all for making the time to join us!

And thank you everyone who joined us in celebration, we hope to see you all again next year!! 👏🏿👏🏿

Strong Families, Strong Futures is a 6-week JAMMA parenting workshop series supporting South Sudanese parents living in Melton/Brimbank through practical sessions focused on communication, wellbeing, leadership, and positive parenting.

We invite all South Sudanese mothers and fathers to come together in a supportive space to learn, connect, and grow alongside one another! 🌱
