๐Ÿšง CALALA LANE TRAFFIC CHANGES ๐Ÿšง
๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ As part of works for the construction of the shared path on Calala Lane, access to some of the adjoining roads will be removed at different times over the next few weeks, weather permitting.
๐Ÿ‘ท Traffic control will be in place on Calala Lane with traffic reduced to one lane, alternating flow, during work hours between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and between 8am and 1pm on Saturdays as necessary.
โ›” As the work zone location changes over the coming weeks, access from Harrier Parade and Myrene Avenue to Calala Lane will be removed as required.
๐Ÿ™ Council thanks road users for their patience and asks everyone to follow the roadwork signs and traffic control in place.

๐Ÿ“บ Did you catch us on SBS News last week?
We love the confidence and learning this program brings to families in our region ๐Ÿ’
The program exists because of Dolly and her vision, and continues with the support of generous, kind people just like you!
๐Ÿ™ If you're in a position to support the Tamworth program, we'd welcome your donation. As Dolly has shown us, even the most humble beginnings can have amazing outcomes.
Give to the Imagination Library - Tamworth Region - https://donate.unitedway.com.au/donations-tamworth
Thank you for sharing with children across our region ๐Ÿฅฐ

Dolly Parton was known for her many, many hit country songs, starring roles in films like 9 to 5 and Steel Magnolias, and her business acumen, which ranged from cake mixes to a theme park.

Her legacy extends far beyond music. And for many children, her most significant legacy is literacy.

In Australia, her Imagination Library initiative has touched the lives of 151,000 children.

But those in regional areas say more financial help is needed to keep it alive.

The Tamworth Young Driverโ€™s Expo held from Tuesday to Friday last week provided over 1200 school students with vital road safety skills, but it wouldnโ€™t have been possible without the very generous support of key organisations and people on the day.

UPDATE: 4:45pm Friday

The network issues have been resolved and our venues phone lines have been restored.

Thank you to the community for your patience today.

Update: 12:15pm Friday

๐Ÿ“ฑ Phone and Network system outage โ˜Ž๏ธ
Council is experiencing a network outage at the moment which is affecting a number of phone and payment systems.

- If you call Council it is currently diverting to the after-hours service. This is also impacting our venues such as the Visitor Information Centre, Entertainment Venues, and Gallery and Museums.
- For all non-urgent enquiries, we'd encourage you to be patient, and if possible call back on Monday from 8:30am.
- The outage is also impacting Eftpos payments across a number of our offices and venues.
- This outage is also affecting the MyTRC app, including the sports field status.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We'll let you know when the network is back!
