Why are more young people joining Rotary South Pacific? 🤔
Because it’s more than a club, it’s flexible, modern, and built for people who want to make an impact.

✅ Build real career skills
✅ Network with people who actually matter
✅ Make friends for life
✅ Work on meaningful projects, both locally and globally

If you want to grow, give back, and be part of something bigger, this is where it happens.

The Rotary Club of Ballina-on-Richmond is deeply saddened by the tragic events off the Ballina Bar.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of those who lost their lives, among them dedicated volunteers from Marine Rescue Ballina.

These volunteers put themselves in harm’s way to help others, and their courage and selflessness reflect the very best of our community.

Our thoughts are also with the surviving crew members and all emergency services who responded in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions.

This is a heartbreaking reminder of the risks our emergency and volunteer services face every time they answer a call for help.

Grafton Midday Rotary Club members paid a visit to the Children’s Ward of Grafton Base Hospital yesterday delivering a special donation of five beautiful patchwork quilts.
The quilts were generously donated to Midday Rotary, Grafton by Diane Harris of Cambridge Park, the wife of a longtime friend of Rotarian Ray Smith .
Diane’s thoughtful contribution will provide warmth, comfort and smiles to young patients as well as their families during what can often be challenging times.

On Tuesday at our meeting we were fortunate to have David Pearson join us to speak about RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service)—truly fascinating and inspiring work.
RAWCS is the humanitarian arm of Rotary in Australia, supporting projects that help disadvantaged communities both locally and around the world. Their work spans areas like disaster relief, health, education, and sustainable development, enabling Rotary clubs to deliver meaningful aid and long-term impact.

A huge thank you to our amazing community for all your support and help with fundraising. Thanks to you, the Yamba Rotary Club shed is finally starting to get built.

Stay tuned… more shed spam to come!

🚨 DEFIBRILLATOR MISSING – PIPPI BEACH 🚨

The defibrillator from outside the toilets at Pippi Beach is missing.

This is a lifesaving device. In a cardiac emergency, every second counts.

If you used it in an emergency, please message us so we can make sure it’s returned and ready for the next person.

If you took it, please do the right thing and put it back — no questions asked.

One day it could be you, your family member, or your mate who needs it ❤️

Please share so we can get it back where it belongs.
