We aim to keep you up to date on news, upcoming events, programs and, operational updates from Yamba Community Pool. At times we may also share information from other government agencies and organisations that is relevant and beneficial to our community. This page is not monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are committed to upholding and promoting openness, relevance, accuracy and respect. As outlined in Clarence Valley Council’s social media policy, we may hide or delete posts that we consider to be:
- defamatory, offensive, humiliating, threatening or intimidating to council officials or members of the public
- contains profane language or is sexual in nature
- constitutes harassment and/or bullying within the meaning of clauses 3.7 and 3.9 of the Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW, or is unlawfully discriminatory
- contains content about Council, Council officials or members of the public that is misleading or deceptive
- breaches the privacy of Council officials or members of the public
- contains allegations of suspected breaches of the Council’s code of conduct or information about the consideration of a matter under the Procedures for the Administration of the Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW
- violates an order made by a court
- breaches copyright
- advertises, endorses or solicits commercial products or business
- constitutes spam
- would be in breach of the rules of the social media platform
If you are in breach of these guidelines, Council may block your account. Prior to blocking somebody from this page, where practicable, Council will advise the person of the intention to ban or block them and be given a chance to respond. PRIVACY
The Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 applies to the use of social media platforms by the Council and councillors. Any other information provided on social media platforms may be used for official purposes. As we wrap up an incredible season at the Yamba Community Pool, we want to take a moment to extend a warm thank you to our wonderful community. We have been so proud to run the pool this season, and it has been an absolute joy seeing so many of you active, happy, and enjoying the water with us.

Please note that our last day of operation for the season will be Friday the 5th. We would love to see you all come in for those last laps and a final splash before the long weekend begins!

We are already looking forward to welcoming you all back next season. Thank you again for your amazing support and for making this season so memorable.

It’s been a fantastic season here at the Yamba Community Pool, and we have loved seeing so many of you making the most of our heated facilities.

As the temperature drops, we want to let you know that we will be closing for our winter break ahead of the upcoming June long weekend. This gives you just a little more time to get those final off-season laps in! 🏊‍♀️

Our current off-peak hours will continue right up until we close:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 1:00 pm

• Weekends: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

For our Squad members, please remember that we operate on a monthly sign-up system—automatic re-enrolment does not occur. If you are keen to keep swimming, please pop in to see us at the front counter or call (02) 6646 1750 to discuss your options before we head into the break.

Our Junior Squads have now moved to the Clarence Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton. These sessions are running on Wednesdays from 6:30 am to 7:30 am with our fantastic coach, Eb!

For our older swimmers, Senior Squads will continue running right here at the Yamba Community Pool. These sessions will remain at 6:00 am to 7:00 am until they wrap up on 5 June.

We currently have spaces available, but please remember to chat with our team at the front counter to secure your spot before next Wednesday.

On a separate note, are you looking for a rewarding way to help out locally? This is your last chance to sign up for the upcoming Lifeguard Course to get certified before summer. Just head to the Royal Life Saving NSW training calendar online, select Northern NSW, and look for our local course to register.

The Yamba Community Pool is excited to share a fantastic opportunity to train as a lifeguard. This is your last chance to complete the course before the summer season kicks off, giving you the essential skills to keep everyone safe in the water.

It is a great way to build your confidence, learn life-saving techniques, and potentially join our teams in the local area!

As the mornings get a little crisper, we have a quick update regarding our Squad training schedule.

Our Junior Squads have now moved to the Clarence Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton for the winter season. These sessions are running on Wednesdays from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.

If you want to keep your little champion active and progressing over the cooler months, we currently have spaces available. They will be training with our fantastic coach, Eb! Please chat with our team if you would like to secure a spot.

We know how much you love your Aqua Classes, and we want to make sure you don't miss a beat with your fitness routine!

With the upcoming Anzac Day closure on , Monday April 27th, we're excited to announce an additional Aqua Class to help you keep moving and making a splash!

Join us for this special extra session 8:45 am to 9:30 am Tuesday 28th!

It's the perfect way to get your workout in before the public holiday. Don't forget to arrive a few minutes early to secure your spot!

We want to let our wonderful Yamba community know about our special operating hours for the upcoming public holiday.

Here's what you need to know for Anzac Day long weekend:

25th: Closed

26th - 28th: 10am - 2pm

29th: Make up class for Aqua Aerobics! at the usual time!

What a fabulous season it's been Yamba! We want to give a massive shout-out and congratulations to all the incredible participants in our holiday intensive programs. We've loved seeing your dedication and improvements!

A friendly reminder that tomorrow, Friday, April 17th, marks the last day of our special holiday intensives. Make sure you celebrate those achievements!

As we transition into the cooler months, our regular Learn to Swim program will also be taking a seasonal break. Classes will not run during winter, but we're already looking forward to welcoming everyone back to build water confidence once the weather warms up later in the year.

This also means the Yamba Community Pool will be closing for its winter break after the June Long Weekend. You have until the end of operating hours on Monday, June 8th, to get your final off-season laps in!

Don't miss your last chance to enjoy our heated 25m outdoor pool! Our current off-peak winter hours are:
Monday to Friday:
6:00 am – 1:00 pm
Weekends:
10:00 am – 2:00 pm

For our dedicated Squad members, a quick reminder about re-enrolment: our Squad programs operate on a flexible monthly sign-up system. Automatic re-enrolment does not occur. Please ensure you confirm your booking directly with staff at the front counter or call (02) 6646 1750 to secure your spot before our winter closure.

What a brilliant school holiday we’ve been having at the Yamba Community Pool! It has been wonderful seeing so many kids making a splash in our intensives and enjoying our facilities. 🏊‍♀️

As the holidays wrap up, we are preparing to move into our cooler weather routine. From Monday, 20 April, the pool will transition to our off-peak winter operating hours.

Even as the days get shorter, our heated pool remains a perfectly inviting spot for your daily laps or a refreshing dip. ☀️ Here is what you need to know about our new schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 1:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Please keep in mind that our regular Learn to Swim program also wraps up this week for the winter season. We have loved watching our students build their water confidence and can't wait to see everyone back when the weather warms up later in the year.

Please ensure all of your fees are wrapped up at our front counter or in the client portal if you would prefer to pay online.

A quick reminder for our pass holders: multi-visit passes and season tickets are facility-specific. Passes purchased for the Yamba Community Pool are valid only at this centre and do not overlap with the Clarence Regional Aquatic Centre. So get those last laps in and use those visits before the season ends!
