Over the past month, Invest Capricorn Coast have been proud to support local businesses across the Capricorn Coast through a series of workshops, networking opportunities and capability-building events delivered right here in our shire.

A highlight was delivering Leading Local: Building the Future of Small Business, made possible through a Queensland Small Business Month Event Delivery Grant, bringing together local businesses, leaders and industry to strengthen skills, connections and future growth. During the month, we also launched our Shop Local campaign, encouraging the community to support and celebrate local businesses.

While hosting events locally in Livingstone, our team also participated in the Queensland Small Business Friendly Conference and Workshop in our region. This brought Small Business Friendly Councils from across the state together to share ideas, strengthen collaboration and explore new ways to better support small business communities. These conversations are critical in ensuring we continue to build a business environment on the Capricorn Coast that is connected, informed and responsive to the needs of local operators.

We look forward to continuing to work alongside our business community to drive growth, resilience and opportunity across the shire.
