জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মো. নূরুল ইসলামের সঙ্গে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার চন্নাম ন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির (Chonnam National University) এমিরেটাস অধ্যাপক চোই হেই ইয়ঙ (Choi Hae-Young) নেতৃত্বে একটি প্রতিনিধিদল সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করে। আজ বেলা তিনটায় উপাচার্য কার্যালয়ে এ সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এ সময় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইংরেজি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক আহমেদ রেজা, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার নাগরিক ও ভাষা শিক্ষক লি কু (Lee Ku) ও তাঁর স্ত্রী লি চার্লস (Lee Charles) উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎকালে উপাচার্য দু’দেশের মধ্যে শিক্ষা-গবেষণা ও ছাত্র-শিক্ষক বিনিময়ের ওপর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের অভিপ্রায় ব্যক্ত করেন। অধ্যাপক চোই হেই ইয়ঙ পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধিতে উভয়ের মধ্যে আলোচনা অব্যাহত রাখার গুরুত্বারোপ করেন।

South Korean Delegation meets with JU VC
A delegation led by Professor Choi Hae-Young, an Emeritus Professor at Chonnam National University in South Korea, paid a courtesy visit on Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University. The meeting took place today at 3:00 PM in the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Professor Ahmed Reza from the university’s Department of English, as well as South Korean national and language instructor Lee Ku and his wife, Lee Charles were also present there.
During this meeting, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his keen interest to exchange cooperation in the field of education and research, as well as for the exchange of students and faculty members between the two countries. Professor Choi Hei-young emphasized on continuing discussions to further enhance mutual cooperation.
