WCO Fellowship Programme #96 – From Concepts to Impact: Turning WCO Standards into National Solutions to better serve society
The ten participants of the 96th WCO Fellowship Programme have successfully completed the Brussels-based second phase of their learning journey, culminating in the finalization of their modernization projects.
Each project focuses on the implementation of a WCO tool, instrument, or standard within the Fellow's national administration, translating global Customs standards into practical, country-specific solutions. Collectively the projects showcase innovative and forward-looking approaches to strengthening Customs modernization, efficiency, and effectiveness.
On the occasion of a ceremony to mark their departure for the field study visit, WCO Secretary General, Ian Saunders, congratulated the Fellows on their commitment and achievements throughout the Programme. He also expressed confidence in their ability to translate their modernization projects into tangible results across the WCO Membership.
Having completed their Leadership and Management Development Workshop, the Fellows have now entered the final phase of the Programme, which includes a field study visit to Japan, France or the Republic of Korea.
