Effective January 1, 2027, the Dangriga Town Council will implement a New Trade License Regime based on the Trade Matrix and Zone Classification under the Municipal Trade Licensing Act, 2024.

🏒 What does this mean for businesses?

Trade Licence fees will now be determined based on:
πŸ“ Your business location and assigned Zone
🏷️ Your business Economic Classification
πŸ“Š The applicable rate under the new Trade Matrix

Businesses will be classified within Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, or Zone 4, depending on the level of development, infrastructure, public utilities, and commercial activity in the area.

⚠️ Business owners are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new rate structure and ensure compliance to avoid penalties and interruptions in service.

The Dangriga Town Council is asking all new property owners within the newly expanded Dangriga Town Boundary, including San Jose (Airstrip Area), Long Bank, 3 Miles, Melinda Road and Commerce Bight, to update their property records with the Valuation Department.

Please submit:
1️⃣ A copy of your land document
2️⃣ A copy of your Social Security Card or valid ID

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Dangriga Town Council kindly advises all persons who have vehicles parked in front of Eldrid Martinez Park (the park adjacent to Caribbean Tires) to remove their vehicles by Thursday evening.

Our maintenance crew will be carrying out w**d trimming and grounds maintenance in the area on Friday. To ensure the work can be completed safely and efficiently, we ask that all vehicles be removed before then.

Please be advised that the Dangriga Town Council will not be responsible for any damage to vehicles left parked in the work area during the maintenance activities.

We thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep Dangriga clean, safe, and beautiful.
