Calgary Minor Soccer Association Dedicated to working for our member organizations to develop, organize, and promote soccer.

The Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) is a registered not-for-profit organization representing over 20,000 youth soccer players ages 4-18. We are the largest year-round youth sports organization in Calgary operating indoor and outdoor soccer programs involving over 1,800 teams each year.

Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of Rocky Ridge Athletic Park — a new place for Calgary kids and families to play, grow, connect and fall in love with the game. ⚽️

Thank you, Mayor Jeromy Farkas and Ward 1 Councillor Kim Tyers for your support in helping us bring more safe and accessible fields for our athletes.
 
We’re excited to celebrate what this investment means for the community and the thousands of young people who will make memories on these fields. First goals. Big wins. Tough losses. New friendships. All the moments that make sport about so much more than the final score. But this isn’t the finish line.
 
Next week, Calgary soccer moves indoors, and we’ll feel the crunch. CMSA is heading into the indoor season with nearly 1,100 teams — about 70 more than last year — playing more than 7,000 games. That growth is something to celebrate, but it also puts even more pressure on an indoor system that is already stretched.
 
That’s why we need to keep moving forward.
Through Fields for Our Future, we’ll continue working with the City of Calgary, our communities and our partners to advance the year-round soccer infrastructure Calgary needs — and to make sure we build the right facilities, in the right places, for the way the game is actually played.
 
It’s time to continue investing in the places where our kids will play, grow, connect and fall in love with the game.

It’s soccer’s time, and Calgary Minor Soccer looks forward to continuing to work with The City, our communities and our partners — not only to build more facilities, but to make sure we build the right ones for this generation and the generations that come next. ⚽️

All CMSA players from U11 – U19 and all CMSA team officials for U10 - U19 teams require a valid CMSA Photo ID Card. CMSA offers extended hours on evenings and weekends prior to the start of the season to obtain ID cards. Photo ID cards can also be made during CMSA office hours.

Each Photo ID session takes 5 minutes and can be booked online on our website using the link in our bio đź”—
