The Library Foundation’s Essential Endowment helps Calgary Public Library stay ready for changing community needs — with support that lasts for the long run. All gifts to the endowment are invested, and a portion of the investment income provides a source of steady support to the Library year after year. This helps cover the Library's highest-priority needs as they arise.

We're saddened by the tremendous loss of Dolly Parton.
She changed the world through her dedication to early literacy. Her Imagination Library partners with Calgary Public Library through the My First Bookshelf program to mail a free book to participating children every month up to the child’s fifth birthday, fostering a lifelong love of reading.

Our team didn't outdrive Seattle Kraken captain Jordan Eberle, but we did have a lot of fun at Sticks & Strings LaunchPad Classic last week! We just love working with our amazing donors Sticks and Strings Foundation and were thrilled to be part of their annual fundraiser. Now we just need to work on our swings for next year 🏌️‍♀️
