We had a very special Bedtime Stories tonight, all about kindness! We read stories, sang songs, played games all in theme with kindness, and friendship. We collected a big box of groceries for the Food Bank. We talked about The Kindness Project, and how important our essential services are, and to show our gratitude in return. We made special cards for the essential services in our town, and had special visitors drop by! Thank you Gambo paramedics Dustin and Nick for taking the time to visit. We really appreciate your hard work, and dedication. From all the library kids (all 52 thumbprint signatures) Thumbs up! You’re doing great! 👍 😊

The forecast is calling for thundershowers this evening, Bedtime Stories will go ahead at the library instead. Reminder to bring an item for the Food Bank, and to wear pink💗

Registration is now open for "The Kindness Project", Summer Bedtime Stories on the Sensory Trail! Children of all ages are welcome to attend, Thursday night at 6:30!

Our Storytime this week will be all about kindness, and friendships. The Kindness Project will teach children about essential services in our town, and how we can show appreciation in return for their valuable contributions. We will read stories, sing songs, and play games all oriented around kindness.

We ask that everyone wear pink, also please bring an item for the Food Bank if possible. Thank you.

Great Book Club tonight! We were so happy to welcome back a few members we haven’t seen in a while. I also collected all the books for the Book Club Kit in one shot! That never happens lol. Thanks for coming out everyone, if you couldn’t make it tonight drop by the library to pick up this month’s book, Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez.

💗THE KINDNESS PROJECT!💗

🕛Wednesday, Aug 12, TD Summer Reading Club, both group 1 & 2 are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for our local food bank. Children will also sign thank you cards for our local essential services. Cards with be accompanied by sweet treats and personally delivered. NOTE: If children cannot make it to the library on Wednesday but would like to participate, drop by the library anytime with your food item, and to sign our cards.

🕕Bedtime Stories on Thursday, Aug 13 will have a KINDNESS themed Storytime where we will read stories, sing songs, play games oriented around kindness. Children are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for our local food bank. Children will use their thumb print to sign thank you cards for our local essential services. NOTE: If children cannot make it to Bedtime Stories on Thursday night, drop by the library anytime with your food item, and to sign our cards.

💗THE KINDNESS PROJECT mission is to teach children about essential services so they learn to appreciate the people who help our community every day, and discover ways they can show kindness and gratitude in return.💗

Week 5 TD Summer Reading Club, Sweet Slushie Science!!!🥤🧑‍🔬⚛️

We started in both group 1 & 2 with our worksheets which were all about the science of slushie making! Everyone got to see science happen in real time with just a few simple ingredients, ice, salt, and juice! Everyone made a slushie, then we ended with some outdoor games!
