⚓ MARINE ADVANCED FIRST AID — YARMOUTH, NS ⚓
When you're working on the water, help isn't always five minutes away.
That's why Marine Advanced First Aid isn't just about getting another certificate — it's about knowing what to do when you and your crew may be the only help available.
🚢 Join Res-Q-Pro Training for an interactive, practical Marine Advanced First Aid course in Yarmouth.
📍 Mariners on Main
275 Main Street, Yarmouth, NS
📅 September 18–21, 2026
🕣 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM daily
This isn't a course where you'll spend your days simply sitting and listening.
We'll work through realistic scenarios, practical skills and the kinds of medical emergencies you could actually face aboard a vessel.
And your instructor knows that environment firsthand.
⚓ Your instructor is a commercial vessel captain with more than 20 years of experience working at sea, so we'll connect the course material to the realities of working aboard commercial vessels — where resources are limited, conditions aren't always ideal, and professional medical help may be hours away.
Upon successful completion, students receive:
✅ Canadian Red Cross Marine Advanced First Aid Certification
✅ Transport Canada Training Certificate
Whether you're upgrading your marine qualifications, renewing your training, or simply want to be better prepared to look after your crew when something goes wrong, we'd love to have you join us.
Come prepared to participate, ask questions, practise your skills — and probably have a few laughs along the way.
Because serious training doesn't have to be boring. ⚓🚑

Wow huge congrats to Harbour Wars such great work !!

We are very pleased to announce the grand total raised at Harbour Wars 2026!

Once again, we will be donating $75,000 to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation Tom MacNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund. This would not be possible without each and every hand who played a part. So thank YOU for helping us continue to raise funds for those in our community battling cancer.
