On February 14, 2021, Anago (Non) Residential Resources Inc. (Anago) and WAYS Mental Health Support (WAYS) unified to become Humana Community Services.

Social services agency supporting individuals and families with a focus on child and youth mental health, transition-age housing and supportive living for adults with developmental disabilities. Through unification, we combine over 100 years of history delivering high-quality services and support for children, youth and adults with complex needs and their families/caregivers. Collectively, we are

known for providing crisis support; personalized mental health services; supports for community participation and transition to independent living, and safe, therapeutic, educational environments where at-risk children, youth and vulnerable adults are able to connect, grow and thrive. Humana Community Services will continue to support individuals facing a wide-range of challenges including trauma; social, emotional or behavioural problems; mental health issues; developmental challenges; sexual exploitation; unstable housing; homelessness and conflict with the law. Building on our strong foundation, we will enhance our programs, improve coordination, and develop family navigation services to meet the changing needs of those we serve.

Today, Humana employees and participants joined our community in celebration of the 30th annual Indigenous Solidarity Day.

It was a meaningful opportunity to come together, honour the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, and reflect on the importance of truth, reconciliation, and solidarity.
