The Soup Kitchen

The Soup Kitchen The goal of The Soup Kitchen is to alleviate the pain of hunger by providing nutritious meals, free By-laws, guidelines and an operation manual are in place.

A board of directors is elected annually and oversees the operation of the program. Approximately 300 dedicated people from various churches and the public at large give generously of their time and talent to make this program possible.

Today we would like to send special thank you's to all the individuals that have stopped by the Kitchen to drop off their pasta donations. We are only into the 4th day of our Pasta for a Purpose Campaign and the response has been terrific. Remember we have a booth at the NF Farmers Market this Saturday if it makes it easier for you to drop off your donations.

AMAZING, our team now has 5 well known Niagara businesses promoting and collecting pasta for "Pasta with a Purpose " Campaign. Niagara certainly knows how to take care of their own. Visit Ivan's Bar 7188 Dorchester Rd NFO and drop off some pasta in our barrel and enjoy their hospitality.

The outpouring of support for our PASTA WITH A PURPOSE campaign has left us pasta-tively speechless!
Our community has shown us once again that when we come together, we can make a BIG difference—one box of pasta at a time.
Every box donated means another meal for a neighbour who needs it. Every contribution is a reminder that no one in our community has to face hunger alone.

Hooligans Sports Bar 3515 Portage Rd NFO for requesting a barrel so your patrons can easily donate pasta to the Kitchen throughout the month of September and to Wild Bills Auto Repair 7868 Oakwood Dr NFO who will match every donation of pasta from his patrons.
