Last Friday our Gr 1-6 classes were lucky enough to attend Aggie Days in Carstairs! It is hosted by the Ag. Society of Carstairs, Cremona & Didsbury with support of Mountain View County. Thank you for being amazing hosts!

For the grade 5 and 6’s civic participation unit, they were asked to choose an organization that they would like to raise money for, and plan how they would do it. They had decided that they would like to raise money through a bake sale, selling their homemade goods at the Reed Ranch Spring Market on May 9th for the Olds Humane Society.
Thank you to our parent council for donating the table at the Spring Market!
Students participated by donating baking and volunteering their time at the bake sale. All together, the class raised $247.65 for the Olds Humane Society!
Way to go grade 5/6 class!!

Lots of great memories were made at Camp Evergreen 2026 last week! A big thank you to Mrs. Penner and Mrs Rice who helped chaperone students. As well, we thank Ms. Cornell and Mrs. Ridder for helping with transportation. Parents, your kids were a pleasure to take to camp. We received numerous comments from camp staff on how well mannered and respectful they were during their stay. We will be sharing more photos soon!

Ducklings and chicks and eggs, Oh my!
The grade 3/4 class along with the buddies in grades 1 & 2 have been learning all about the life cycle of birds. We are incubating eggs, had a visit from adorable ducklings, and even dissected eggs to see what parts were inside! We can't wait for hatch day in 3 weeks!

Another amazing year of our annual "Let’s Chalk About It" event!

Students all across Chinook’s Edge School Division shared kindness, encouragement, and positivity throughout their school communities, making this one of our favourite weeks of the year🥰
We are especially thankful for the beautiful weather that helped bring these messages to life!
