🧯Pull the pin,
🧯Aim at the base of the fire,
🧯Squeeze the handle, and
🧯Sweep side-to-side. Stand 6-8 feet away, ensuring you have a clear escape route behind you, and only fight small, contained fires.

The current Fire Danger Rating is LOW.

Recent weather conditions have reduced the risk of wildland and grass fires; however, residents are reminded that fires can still occur if they are not properly attended or extinguished.

If you are having an outdoor fire, please ensure you follow all applicable burning regulations, never leave a fire unattended, and fully extinguish it before leaving the area.

Let's continue to do our part to keep our community safe.

🧯Extinguishers should be replaced every 10–12 years. While they lack a strict, universal "expiration date," the manufacturing date is stamped on the canister or label.
🧯Replace immediately if the gauge is not in the green zone, the pin is missing, the seal is broken, or the nozzle is damaged.
🧯 Inspection: Check the pressure gauge monthly to ensure it is in the green zone.
