We are pleased to announce that CSA is participating in the 5 Days for the Homeless National Campaign to raise awareness for homelessness again this year!

“What is 5Days?” It is a National Campaign in which participants from Universities across Canada raise awareness and collect donations for members of the society at risk of or experiencing homelessness. This year, CSA is collecting both monetary and non-monetary donations as part of fundraising efforts. For more information about the , please visit the website: https://cabsonline.ca/5-days/

We invite you to join us for a Movie Night today at 7pm in Welwood Lecture Theatre (room 7-238)! We will be showcasing the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness".

Free entry by donation (monetary or non-monetary). Non-monetary items can include but are not limited to:
- non-perishable food items;
- hygiene products;
- clothing;
- toiletries;
- beddings;
- kitchenware, etc.

All monetary proceeds go toward the official campaign, and any non-monetary donations collected will support our local St Vincent De Paul Society PG and NUGSS Foodbank

Are you looking to stand out from the crowd when interviewing for jobs? If so, register for the PEER-TO-PEER MOCK INTERVIEW event today!

Students who participate in the Mock Interview Event have the opportunity to:
- Practice and refine interviewing skills
- Build confidence
- Enhance communication/interview skills necessary to make you competitive in today's job market
- Practice professionalism
- Network

Each mock interview is 30 minutes long, with 20 minutes allotted for the interview itself and 10 minutes for feedback exchange.

Professional attire is a requirement for participation.

We are offering a more detailed information session introducing the event, PLUS a workshop session provided by Judy Mason, one of the greatest HR instructors on campus. Judy brings expertise in the HR field as a professional and has designed a similar but more comprehensive lecture material for her class.

We are pleased to invite Tim Read, the Member Relations Manager from CPHR BC & Yukon, to present an HR Career Information Session exclusively to UNBC students. It is a great opportunity for you to gain insight into the benefit of the CPHR Designation as well as many career paths and opportunities in the HR field. The session will be held online via Zoom on Thursday, March 2nd from 12 pm - 1 pm. All attendees must pre-register, registration link can be found in bio or you can simply scan the QR code above!

We are excited to invite CPABC's very own Student Recruitment Officer, Natalie Williams, to host an information session in person after the UNBC career fair this year!

Visit CPABC's booth at UNBC Northworks Career Fair 2023, and attend the session right after in small lecture room 7-158 with Natalie to learn all about CPABC and ask any questions you may have!

This year, we are very excited to announce that the UBCO Management Student Association and the UNBC Commerce Student Association are introducing and co-hosting the first ever Cross-Campus Case Competition!🤩

The cross-campus case competition is a perfect opportunity for those who would like to supplement the learning being done in the classroom via real life business practice. Develop your problem-solving capabilities, gain experience working in teams, and build confidence in persuasive presentation skills. It is also a great opportunity to network with other talented students and industry professionals through social events.

This cross-campus case competition will be hosted in Kelowna, British Columbia from September 30 to October 2! You get to spend two days in one of the fastest growing cities in BC, and explore UBC’s beautiful Okanagan campus!
