The Salmo Valley Historical Society has put together a fantastic exhibit featuring the Salmo Valley Trail Society, sharing the story of how the society got its start in 2013 and its ongoing mission to create, enhance, and preserve trails throughout the Salmo Valley.

🌊☀️ Postponed to Tomorrow! ☀️🌊

Our Under the Sea Party in the Park has been postponed to tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19 from 1:00–3:00 PM at KP Park Campground—and it's extra special because it's the LAST day of Summer Reading Club for the summer! 🐠📚

Join us for an afternoon of summer fun with water balloon games, sprinklers, tie dye, music, prizes, delicious snacks and plenty of activities to keep everyone smiling. Don't forget your swimsuit—you'll probably get wet! 💦

This free event is open to ages 5–18, and everyone is welcome to come celebrate an amazing summer of reading with us. We can't wait to see you there! 🐚💙

A big thank you to local children’s author Rhonda Kirby for joining us at the library for a wonderful storytime featuring her book, Katie and Shine! 💛

The kids had a great time listening to the story and getting creative with a fun Shine-inspired craft. Thank you, Rhonda, for sharing your story with our community! 🐶💛

🐙 Make a splash at our Under the Sea Party in the Park! 🐠💦

Join us this Thursday, August 13 from 1:00–3:00 PM at KP Park Campground for a fun-filled afternoon celebrating another fantastic summer of the BC Summer Reading Club! 📚☀️

We’re bringing the beach vibes with water games, sprinklers, tie-dye, music, prizes, and tasty snacks—plus lots of opportunities to cool off and have some fun! 💦🎨🎶 Don’t forget to wear your swimsuit and come prepared to get a little (or a lot!) wet!
