🌟Back to School Contest🌟: It's that time of year when parents take the annual 'Back to School' picture of their kids first day of school. Why not take the picture AND maybe win something for yourself!?

Download our 'Remember the Summer - Back to School' signs (from our website). Print the grade(s) you need. Take the picture with your kid(s) and tag us. We will select one winner from all entries to win one South Frontenac baseball hat, and one South Frontenac toque.

We will announce and contact the winners on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Join us next Sunday, September 13 from 10am–3pm at 1422 Rutledge Road, Perth Road, for a free, family-friendly day on the farm!

Enjoy wagon rides, live music, food trucks, artisan and farm vendors, and farm equipment displays. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!

The work on the new Eagle Creek Bridge is now complete. The roadway is now open to traffic ahead of schedule. Only minor items remain such as line painting which will be completed at a later date.

As we move into September, we will adjust the hours of operation for the bathrooms located at The Point in Sydenham and Gilmour Point Beach in Battersea. This change will take effect on Labour Day (September 7) until the end of September:

Sydenham Point:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm

Gilmour Point:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
