If you have any questions or comments that are unrelated to any of the posts, please private message the page administrator and you will be answered in a timely manner. Kitselas Lands and Resources Department is excited to share that construction of Section 1 of the Gitaus Community Trail is now complete and ready to enjoy! It has been great to already see community members out walking, biking, and spending time on the trail.

As we continue adding final touches, including trail signage, we kindly ask everyone to help keep the trail safe and enjoyable for all users:

🐾 Please pick up after your dog and keep dogs on leash
🚶‍♀️🚲 The trail is intended for passive recreation (walking, biking, & pedal-assisted e-bikes only)
🚫 No ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, or snowmobiles
🗑️ Pack out garbage and help keep the trail clean
🌲 Please respect the trail and surrounding features (including marked trees and areas)

Thank you to everyone for helping care for and respect this new community space. We look forward to sharing updates as the project continues and future sections of the trail are developed.

We are now accepting applications for the Kitselas Summer Student Program. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience, develop new skills, and contribute to our community.
