SUMMER 2026 LEGO BUILDING CONTEST 🏆

Design and build your own LEGO castle complete with detailed rooms, castle features, and must include an outdoor element such as a drawbridge or faux water feature. No LEGO kits permitted — creations must be original builds, no larger than one 12X12 LEGO plate.

Bring your castle to the Library by August 7 for judging and display. Two winners will each receive a $30 LEGO gift card! 💳

All LEGO creations will be returned after the contest concludes. Please pick up your creations by Aug 11, 2026.📣

Our Maker Lab is here this July and August, and we'd love to welcome some new faces!

Maker Lab also continues throughout the school year as our After the Bell program. It's a fun, free space where kids can get creative, make new friends from different schools and backgrounds, and build exciting projects together.

Along the way, we also enjoy giving back by creating projects that benefit our community.

If your child loves to create, explore, and have fun, this is the perfect group for them!

PLEASE HELP US REDUCE PROGRAM NO-SHOWS!📣📣📣📣

Many of our free programs have waitlists, and when someone doesn't show up without cancelling, it has a ripple effect on the library and our community.

We understand that plans change, illness and accidents happen. If your plans change, please cancel your registration online or give us a quick call. If you cancel through our website, the next person on the waitlist is automatically moved into the program and notified, helping us fill the spot quickly.
