Yesterday, -SCYCLE welcomed 20 participants from across the UN Campus and external organizations to a Foundational training on Digital Product Passports ( ) for a Economy.

🎉 The event was particularly special as it was the first meeting held in our newly refurbished conference room on the 19th floor - a fantastic new space for collaboration, learning, and knowledge exchange. We were delighted to inaugurate it together with colleagues from UNFCCC, UNESCO-UNEVOC, UNSSC, UNCCD.

💡 As the EU prepares to introduce Digital Product Passports across key product categories, understanding their role is becoming increasingly important. During the interactive session, participants explored:
The role of DPPs in advancing the circular economy
The evolving policy and standardization landscape
Practical implementation and real-world examples
Opportunities and challenges for organizations preparing for the transition

Delivered as part of the EU-funded -RISE project, the training sparked valuable discussions on how digital tools can accelerate the shift towards a circular economy.

🙏 A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this first event in our new conference room such a great success!
