I invested over ₦1 billion into a business I believed in. It started well, but over time it became a financial burden. Poor compliance from others involved only made things worse.

One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is this: not everything is worth holding onto forever. Sometimes, the strongest decision you can make is to walk away from what is draining you.

Don’t let pride, pressure, or sunk costs keep you in something that’s costing you your peace, your health, or your future. It’s better to leave the business than to let the business bury you.

Not every love story ends the way you imagined.

Before we got married, we had a failed engagement. We eventually found our way back to each other, got married, and were blessed with an amazing son. But despite our hopes, the marriage didn’t work out.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that when a relationship ends, the fighting doesn’t have to continue. Today, we’re committed to raising our son together, and I’m grateful that we’ve chosen peace, respect, and healthy co-parenting over bitterness.

On Talks with Franklin, I’m sharing my journey not because I have all the answers, but because someone might learn from my mistakes, my growth, and the choices we’ve made along the way.

Sometimes, the greatest success isn’t staying together—it’s choosing maturity when things fall apart.
