🌹 THANK YOU, RUC! 🌹
This year, 25.5% of all students voted in the uni election, almost double last year’s turnout of 14.4%. That is thousands of students choosing to shape the future of our university.
And because of your support, Frit Forum Roskilde has won TWO seats in the Academic Council, up from one last year. This is a huge step forward for student democracy and for the values we fight for: solidarity, inclusion, and a stronger student community at RUC.
Your elected representatives:
Svend Flarup (with alternate Muna Al-Said)
Funding for all student organisations – not just election winners
“I will work towards funding all student organisations by removing the money from the uni-elections. We must support the communities that make student life thrive at RUC. Additionally, with my alternate Muna, we will work towards providing free pads and tampons across campus.”
Tracy R. E. Akpobasaa
Your International Representation – For Solidarity and Inclusion
“I will advocate for international students at RUC and foster a study environment where everyone feels seen and supported. With recent attention, we must ensure that international students are included in all aspects of student life.”
✨ Thank you to everyone who voted, supported, messaged, joined events, or simply believed in a kinder, more inclusive RUC.
We’re proud, and ready to get to work.
