Kinship care is when a child is cared for by a relative or family friend because their parents are unable to look after them.

There are more than 500 Kinship Carers supporting over 650 children across West Sussex and many are navigating significant challenges while providing safe, stable and loving homes for children.

The Kinship support team provides a wide range of assistance, including:
▪️Expert advice on issues affecting Kinship Carers and the children in their care
▪️Specialist training and workshops, including in-depth therapeutic support
▪️Help with managing and maintaining family contact arrangements
▪️Peer support opportunities, including coffee mornings and social events
▪️Direct support for children, plus assessments and support planning

🎃👻 Halloween Spectacular 2026 - Pop this date in your diary now!👻🎃

Join us for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun at the Angmering Community Centre on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 2pm to 4pm!

Bring along your already-carved pumpkin and enter our pumpkin competition for the chance to win a prize. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the following age categories:
🎃 7 years and under
🎃 8 to 13 years
🎃 14 years and over

There will be plenty of Halloween-themed activities to enjoy, including:

🎭 Make your own spooky mask
📖 Scary bookmark creations
🎨 Face painting
