The Congleton Labour Team were out in Congleton Town yesterday, picking up signatures for their petition to improve the indoor and outdoor space of Congeton Market, which opens on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition, it was lovely to see so many people out and about. There is also an online version of the petition too, see comments.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted for our brilliant candidate, Ken Hadfield, in the North Ward by‑election for Congleton Town Council.

We ran a positive campaign and it was fantastic to speak with so many residents across the ward. While Labour came 3rd in a field of 7 candidates, Labour was the highest‑placed progressive party, ahead of the Lib Dems, Greens, Equality Party and the independent candidate.

Thanks also go to the volunteers who helped power our campaign. We’re incredibly proud of Ken, proud of our team, and proud of the positive vision we put forward for Congleton.

We’ll keep working hard for our town. 🌹
