Town Mayor Cllr Suzy Firkin invites local organisations to join the Civic Parade and Service.

Congleton will come together this month to celebrate the people who give their time, energy and commitment to serving their community, as Town Mayor Cllr Suzy Firkin hosts her Civic Parade and Service on Sunday 13 September.

Parade
• Assemble: Antrobus Street Car Park, 1.15 pm
• Departure: 1.30 pm
• Led by Rode Hall Silver Band
• Organisations are encouraged to bring flags, banners or something representing their group

Civic Service
• Congleton Town Hall, 2pm
• Expected to finish by 2.45 pm
• Light refreshments will be served afterwards

The Cheshire East recycling team will be joining us at the Green Festival 10am - 3pm Sat 26th Sept 26.

A fabulous weekend had by all!

As the dust settles on what turned out to be a barn-storm-ing 2026, we would like to once again extend our sincerest thanks to the local organisations that provide invaluable support to our festivals. Their grant funding, sponsorship, and services at significantly reduced costs are essential to our success. We are deeply appreciative of their contributions and we could not deliver these events without them. A huge THANK YOU !!!

We're counting down to the Congleton Green Festival!

We're bringing together local green businesses, community groups, environmental projects and organisations for a day of discovering, learning, doing and enjoying.

It's here! Congleton Jazz and Blues takes over Congleton for the bank holiday weekend!

Today, all bus travel within the Congleton boundary will be free. This includes the ‘Beartown’ Buses 90, 91, 92 and 93A/C, circulars to and from Mossley, Bromley Farm, Buglawton and West Heath respectively, as well as the numbers 38, 42, and 94, for the portions of their journey within the Congleton boundary.
