Standing up for people living with disabilities, members of LGBTQ+ communities and other local residents who feel minoritised.

Today local LibDems, led by Cllr Sarah Boad (below), held the Reform UK leadership to account for their plans to defund the County Council's equalities service. The public consultation will still go 'live' but - thanks to the victory we won today - only after members of the Overview & Scrutiny Committee have seen the consultation document.

We hope as many people and community groups as possible will take part in the consultation. For more details watch Sarah's feedback in the comments below.

Our next promise to Coventry this election is for a for businesses and people,

We want our city to thrive, we will be creating council led housing projects and supporting small businesses to encourage a rejuvenation to our city centre as well as other key districts.

This will, along with our commitments, create a city that employers will want to invest in and people are proud to live in!
