Please join us at Cullompton Library TOMORROW NIGHT (Thursday 28th May) for a special screening of Jo in the Water. 🌊

This powerful documentary tells the story of Jo Bateman, an Exmouth-based sea swimmer turned environmental activist, as she takes on one of the UK’s biggest water companies in a fight to protect our rivers, lakes and seas.

The film highlights the growing movement for cleaner waterways and asks an important question: who will stand up for our right to clean, safe water?

National Crime Writers Month takes place every June, to celebrate we are happy to announce crime writer Terry Green will be visiting on Thursday 4th June.

Join us in the library for this free event to hear from Terry about his books, life and writing experiences.

Terry Green is a Devon- based crime thriller writer. Redline, the first in a series, is a fast and furious story set in the glamourous, high octane world of sports cars. Dangerous Art, his next book in the series which launches May 21st, is a taut, tense and riveting story of shady dealings and career criminals — abduction, blackmail, fraud…with the action beginning on Burgh Island, travelling to Prague, and finally returning to Devon.

Please speak to staff to book your free place on this event. The event will begin at 2pm. While it is free admission, please consider leaving a donation for the library.
Visit his website www.terry-green.co.uk to explore more.
