What a fantastic day our group had at the first DJ4aDay workshop at The Council House! 🎧🎙️

The young people had an action-packed morning, building their interview skills, learning to play the ukulele, and even getting the chance to go live on the radio! It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved, trying something new, and growing in confidence.

There are still 3 FREE sessions remaining, taking place Thursday 6th, 13th and 20th August, from 10:00am–12:30pm at the Council House.

If your child is aged 12–16 and would like to take part, we'd love to hear from you!

Looking for something fun, creative and completely FREE to do during the summer holidays?

We're excited to be running a 4-week Music & Radio Broadcasting Workshop for 12–16-year-olds.

Over four exciting sessions, participants will have the chance to:
🎶 Learn the ukulele
🎙️ Go live on the radio
🎤 Write and perform their own raps
🗣️ Learn interview techniques
🤝 Make new friends and build confidence

📅 Thursdays: 30 July, 6 August, 13 August & 20 August
🕙 10:00am – 12:30pm
