Call handlers play a vital role in helping us deliver a high-quality service as a force. 👮💙

📞 From emergency 999 calls to non-emergency contact via 101 or digitally, call handlers are the friendly voice who will assist in getting the right support to you across the area.

Our force control centre takes more than 1500 reports a day, including reports about serious crime, traffic collisions, anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, mental health and missing persons.

⚖️⚖️ Three members of an organised crime gang who trafficked co***ne and he**in in Newport have received a combined jail term of 10 and a half years.

ℹ️ Carlos Ross, 32, Logan James, 22, and Wesley Davies, 35, were sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday 17 September.

All three pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply co***ne and he**in.
