🔥🦇 RUSTICUS AT ILLUMINATED WHITBY 🦇🔥
It was here, at Whitby Abbey 18 years ago that a creative partnership first began to take shape and the seeds of what would eventually become Rusticus were sown 😍 Since then we have built Rusticus into a nationwide provider of outdoor theatrical family experiences and this Autumn we get to come back to the Abbey - bringing everything we've learnt about creating magical experiences in extraordinary places back to where it all began!

We are delighted to announce that this October half term you can join us at 🌙✨SPOOKLIGHTS✨🌙 for one of our most ambitious experiences yet - where four very different performances respond to the same unsettling question...
What are those strange lights flickering in the darkness? Are they a warning? A memory? Or something altogether more unsettling?
Meet a moth irresistibly drawn to the moon, hear the tale of the doomed voyage of the Demeter and encounter Dracula’s brides in the shadows. But be warned - somewhere amongst it all is the Count himself - Dracula, Dracul, man, beast, mist or shadow; ancient, elusive and never quite where or what you expect him to be..!
Four stories. Strange lights in the darkness. And a presence that seems to run through them all.

Join us for spell casting, broomstick flying, wand combat and monster hunting at our Wizarding Encounters this Halloween! Our wizarding experts will be on hand to share some of the secrets of the magical world. Come along and join in as a family - the more the merrier!
