🐾💙 Trust colleagues and tenants have raised another £1,150 for Maggie's Cancer Care! 💙🐾

Our Maggie's and Scotties campaign is helping bring people together across Trust, and two recent fundraising activities have made a fantastic contribution to the cause.

🏔️ Jennifer Wallace, Director of Customer Experience, raised an incredible £935 after successfully completing a Ben Nevis challenge, exceeding her fundraising target thanks to the generous support of sponsors.

☕ Linda Taylor, alongside customers and colleagues at St Andrews Court in East Kilbride, organised a fundraising afternoon tea and raffle which raised £218.50. Residents and staff contributed cakes, sandwiches, prizes and plenty of community spirit to make the event a success.

Together, these efforts have raised £1,153.50 for Maggie's Cancer Care.

👏 Thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered, sponsored, baked, attended events or taken part in fundraising activities.

Every contribution helps support Maggie's incredible work.

Sometimes housing providers like Trust have housing available, which means that applicants might not wait quite as long to move into a new home.

It’s also important to note that our Allocations Policy means that whoever has the greatest need for housing is considered first, regardless where or when they apply for housing.

To ensure that as many as possible get the chance of good quality housing with Trust, we are offering customers the chance to refer a friend and receive £100 when a friend is offered and accepts a Trust property.

🌱🍅 Green Fingers and Growing Confidence at Drumlanrig View! 🍅🌱

What started as an experiment has blossomed into a fantastic success at Drumlanrig View, Thornhill.

After purchasing a greenhouse last summer, a small group of tenants rolled up their sleeves, planted seeds and got growing. The results have been incredible, with an abundance of tomatoes, vibrant flowers and beautiful planted displays now thriving in the greenhouse.

A special mention goes to one dedicated customer whose passion and commitment have helped the project flourish. Having never grown flowers before, he has embraced the experience and thoroughly enjoyed watching the plants grow. Better still, those around him have noticed a real boost in his confidence and overall wellbeing.

Projects like this show the positive impact that shared activities can have on both individuals and communities. While some tenants have been busy tending to the plants, the rest have been enjoying the rewards!

With such a successful first growing season behind them, plans are already underway to make next year even bigger and better.

🎉💛 Another fantastic fundraising success at Elder Street! 💛🎉

Customers, family and friends recently came together for a fun-filled day of fundraising in support of at Elder Street in Glasgow.

From the tabletop sale and raffle to karaoke, laughter and plenty of community spirit, everyone had a wonderful time. Special mentions go to Margaret for taking to the mic for her very first karaoke performance, and to baby Jude for being the perfect guest on the day! 😊

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, an amazing £153 was raised for Maggie’s.

Well done to everyone who helped make the event such a success and for supporting such an important cause. 💛
