Book Club - Whipton 📚

It’s brilliant that we now have a wonderful group of people coming together for the Whipton Book Club.

The first meeting will be at the Star Inn on the evening of Wednesday 29th July, and they’ll be meeting monthly on Wednesday evenings after that.

📚 A little bit of news...

Over the last few years, lots of people have messaged me asking for plans, measurements, weatherproofing tips, and advice on how to build their own little libraries.

Rather than trying to type it all out every time, I've finally sat down and turned everything I've learned from building 20+ libraries into a couple step-by-step build guides.

It includes measurements, cutting lists, materials lists and all the tips and tricks I've picked up along the way.

If you've ever thought about building your own library for your community, school, village or garden, the guide is now available on my Etsy page.

And if you'd rather just ask questions, that's absolutely fine too — I'm always happy to help where I can. 😊

📚 Meet another of our exhibitors – Devon School Library Service Devon Education Services

The team will be promoting reading for pleasure, with a free book available for every young visitor.

Younger children can take part in a ‘Share a Story with Elmer’ activity, while older children are invited to enter a bookmark competition with prizes to be won.

A selection of booklists will also be available to take away, offering inspiration for future reading.
