# # Join Us TOMORROW! for an Evening of Poetry and Good Company!
Do you have a poem tucked away in your notebook? Or perhaps you’re in the mood for a cozy evening filled with words, biscuits, and delightful company? Come along! Whether you’d like to read your own creations, share a favorite piece, or simply unwind and enjoy the beauty of verse, we welcome you to bring a published poem to share as well.

This month’s theme is “Alcohol.” You can explore an interesting experience, write about a cringe-worthy memory, or reflect with a verse on intoxication in general. However, feel free to write about anything that inspires you—or share a published poem on any topic—as this is a relaxed gathering where we cherish the joy of poetry and the warmth of community.
Join us for poetry, camaraderie, and biscuits by the sea!

📚 Libraries are about people as much as books.

At Filey Library, our volunteers help create the warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and sense of community that visitors enjoy every day.

Working alongside North Yorkshire Council, the Filey Library Action Group (FLAG) supports a wonderful team of volunteers who help keep the library at the heart of the community.

If you'd like to get involved, meet new people and support a much-loved local service, we'd love to hear from you.

Just pop into the library and speak to a member staff or the volunteer team to find out more.

😊 We look forward to meeting you.
