Supporting Ukraine Through Op INTERFLEX 🇺🇦🇬🇧

A fantastic opportunity to discuss the vital work of Op INTERFLEX during a visit to the National Army Museum Museum, held alongside celebrations marking the 35th Year of Ukrainian Independence.

Our Commanding Officer joined the interview panel to share his experience of delivering medical training to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, highlighting the crucial contribution of UK Regular and Reserve personnel, supported by specialist linguists.

Since medical training began in May 2023, 1,000 Ukrainian personnel have received combat medic training in the UK, developing essential skills including casualty assessment, controlling severe blood loss and providing lifesaving care under fire.

The programme has continued to evolve through the Platoon Combat Medical Training Programme, delivered alongside international partners and preparing Ukrainian personnel for challenging battlefield scenarios, including mass casualties, limited resources and chemical warfare.

A powerful example of the professionalism, teamwork and international partnership supporting Ukraine. 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇦
