🌱 Green Libraries Week is coming! 🌱

Libraries play an important role in helping people live more sustainably, save money and connect with their communities.

Here at Haslemere Library, we're proud to work with Love Haslemere Hate Waste to host the Haslemere Library of Things, giving residents the chance to borrow useful household items instead of buying them.

We also support sustainability through:
🌱 Distributing FREE seeds from the Guildford Seed Bank
🔧 Borrowing instead of buying
📚 Sharing resources through our collections
🎨 Upcycling and craft activities
🤝 Building community connections and practical skills

Whether you're borrowing a book, hiring a tool, attending a repair workshop or picking up some seeds, every small action can make a difference.

How has your library helped you live a little greener? Let us know in the comments!
