Suffolk Conservative Group condemns Reform UK’s decision to remove the Ukrainian flag from Endeavour House.

This week marked the first County Council meeting of the new administration. The election of Cllr Michael Hadwen as Leader was overshadowed by past social media comments, including saying “Russia was not his enemy” after the Salisbury poisonings and that Enoch Powell “was right”.

We also challenged misleading Reform UK campaign leaflets claiming £283k is spent on translation for those who “refuse to integrate”, clarifying that around 90% of this amount supports children and young people’s services.

We will continue standing up for the people of Suffolk and protecting vital services for children.

She is ready to get straight back to work, standing up for residents and raising the issues that matter most to our community.
