Pells Pool Channel Swim - 12th September

Were busy preparing for our Channel Swim and can’t wait to take on the challenge together! 💙

Application forms must now be submitted by Tuesday 1st September to secure your place in the lane. 🏊🏼 🏊🏻‍♀️

Fundraising: team members, keep using the JustGiving link for donations and sharing it with friends and family to help us reach our fundraising goal!

We have a few tickets left for the midnight swim tomorrow Saturday 15th August.

The sauna will be open as an add on at £4 with a purchased Midnight swim ticket.

Hopefully the sky will be clear to watch for some shooting stars.

Pells Pool has exciting news. We are happy to be welcoming Gemma back for 3 Mondays during August to bring Dance, Fitness and Fun back to the pool.
£4 per class and an additional charge for your swim.

Pells Pool closed for planned maintenance Monday 10 August 2026

The Pells will be closed on Monday 10 August for essential maintenance.

You won’t be able to book a swim or sauna that day.

The hot and sunny weather means we’ve been extremely busy over the last few weeks. This is fantastic, and we’re grateful for everyone who has come down and enjoyed the pool this year (and thank you for showering before getting in for a swim).
However, the high number of swimmers has affected water quality.
So, we need to drain the pool a little, add more chlorine and carry out a deep clean of the pool and the surrounds, before topping the water back up.

The best way to do this is to close for a day. This is something we typically do once or twice during the season.
We’ll close at 6:30pm on Sunday 9 August and reopen at 7am on Tuesday 11 August.

Only 3 more sleeps to the 2026 Wellness Waves event.
We are so excited that professionals from different fields of wellbeing are joining us: Totalfit, Soulfit, Zumba, yoga, Tina Kitchen, Moving Stillness, Pause, Ginger Green workshops. Please see the schedule for timings of the classes.

We also have stalls selling branded merchandise and wellbeing products and medical professionals on hand for a chat.

And on top of all this the pool will be open all afternoon. Please book your ticket and we look forward to a great afternoon.
