🌦️ Good morning from Brockwell Lido 🌦️

The forecast has changed a little since earlier in the week, and while tomorrow may not be the sunshine-filled day we’d hoped for, it’s still looking like a perfectly good day for a swim 🌊☀️

Temperatures are expected to reach around 17°C, with some showers possible throughout the day.

⏰ Pool opening hours: 06:30–21:00

👨‍👩‍👧 Family swims are running after school 15:30-17:30, alongside our regular lane swimming programme.

As always, we’ll keep an eye on conditions throughout the day. Rain won’t stop play, but in the event of thunderstorms, we may need to temporarily clear the pool for safety reasons.

Looking ahead, there are signs of warmer weather returning next week too… 👀☀️

☀️ Hot weather is on the way… ☀️

With forecasts suggesting temperatures could climb towards 30°C by the end of the week, we’re expecting Brockwell Lido to be a popular spot once again 🌊

If you’re planning a visit, a quick reminder that our summer programme is now live from Saturday 13th June on the booking system, with sessions available throughout the day for lane swimmers, families and general swimming.

🌅 Summer Solstice Swim at Brockwell Lido 🌅

Join us on Sunday 21st June as we celebrate the longest day of the year with a special evening swim at Brockwell Lido.

As the sun begins to set on the summer solstice, take the opportunity to experience the pool in a completely different light - golden skies and a midsummer evening swim in one of London’s most iconic lidos 🌊✨

☀️ Good morning from Brockwell Lido ☀️

It’s the second day of our new summer weekend format, and we’re looking forward to welcoming swimmers back to the pool today 🌊

The sunshine is making an early appearance, although the pool temperature has dipped a little overnight and is currently sitting at 18.4°C. Refreshing? Definitely. Still worth it? Absolutely 🏊‍♀️

⏰ Today’s sessions:

💦 Session 1: 07:30–12:30

🚶‍♀️ Poolside Closure: 12:30–13:00
All visitors will be required to leave poolside between sessions.

💦 Session 2: 13:00–18:00

If you’re booking through the app, look out for “Lido Swim” sessions, which include both lane swimming and general swimming.

📢 A quick update for tomorrow’s swimming sessions 📢

This weekend marks the start of our new split-day format at Brockwell Lido, this will be a change for the weekend schedule before being implemented into the weekdays sessions on the 15th June🌊

When booking, you’ll now see sessions labelled “Lido Swim” in the app. These sessions include a mix of lane swimming and general swimming, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy the pool.

🏊 07:30–12:30

At the end of Session 1, all visitors will be required to leave poolside while we prepare for the afternoon session.

⏰ Session 2
🏊 13:00–17:00

Please note that due to a privately booked event taking place tomorrow evening, the pool will close at 17:00 rather than the usual 18:00. This is a one-off adjustment to our normal weekend timetable.

Thank you for your patience as we introduce our summer operating schedule. These sessions help us manage capacity, maintain water quality and ensure the best possible experience for all swimmers throughout the busiest months of the year.

The forecast is looking a little brighter today, with highs of around 18°C and hopefully fewer showers than we’ve seen recently 🌤️

The pool temperature is still holding at a comfortable 20°C, so it’s feeling warmer in the water than out of it for many swimmers 🌊

⛈️Good morning from Brockwell Lido ⛅

The forecast may be looking a little dramatic again, with thunderstorms possible and more rain expected throughout the week, but the good news is that the pool is still holding a lovely 22°C 🌊

As always, we’ll keep an eye on conditions throughout the day. A quick reminder that as an outdoor pool, we may need to temporarily clear the water and close the pool if thunderstorms or lightning move into the area.

Rainy swims, however? Business as usual ☔🏊‍♀️

🌦️ Good morning from Brockwell Lido 🌦️

The sunshine may be taking a little break this week, but the swimming continues! Open 06:30-20:00pm today!

While the forecast is looking a little wetter over the coming days, our pool temperature is expected to remain comfortably above 20°C, making it a great time for a swim without the summer crowds 🌊

👨‍👩‍👧 Family swim sessions will continue as normal, and we look forward to welcoming families throughout the week.

A small heads up for parents: although the water is staying warm, the cooler air temperatures and occasional rain may mean younger swimmers feel the chill a little sooner than they would on a hot summer’s day, so extra towels, warm clothes and a post-swim hot chocolate might be a good idea ☕
