Poetic Unity Our vision is to give young people a voice and to empower them to reach their highest potential.

Black-led charity that empowers children and young people to thrive through poetry-based education, employment, social justice and mental health support across the UK. We use poetry as a tool to support young people's mental health, education, personal development, physical health, and community cohesion.

This month’s Poetic Room is a Drake Special🔥 Where live music meets poetry 🎉

We celebrate Drakes biggest hits played live by our band alongside incredible performances by some of London’s best poets ✨

Times: 5.30pm-8pm

Open mic sign up:

Any poet who buys a ticket and would like to perform at this event should arrive at the venue between 5.30pm-5.45pm to sign up on the open mic. There are limited performance slots available and each poet has a maximum of 5 mins to perform.

We are excited to announce a special event as part of the Poetry International Festival 🎉🏆

We will be hosting a poetry night with a live band at the famous on Friday 10th July and it’s completely free to attend!

Doors open 7pm, no tickets needed. Just show up and enjoy some of the best talent London has to offer ✨

Headline acts and special guests to be announced in the coming weeks! Oh and there will be some open mic slots available too 🎤🎤

Poetic Unity at the Chelsea Flower Show 💐🌷

Our member was commissioned to write a poem for our partners which she performed across 2 days at the Chelsea Flower Show ✨

The poem highlights the importance of nature for young people’s well being. This was created after holding a workshop with a group of young people who gave Amaarah the direction for the poem ✍️

The poetry was fire and the energy in the room was wholesome!

Thank you to everyone who came especially our open micers! Special shout out to our live band who blessed our event with their incredible talent 🎹🪉🎸🎷and who hosted the event with an infectious energy ✨
