Sales/Business Analyst
Mon – Fri: 9am-5pm
£27,500 per annum.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales/Business Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading company specialising in tailoring bespoke mobile roaming packages for other UK businesses. They work alongside clients across a huge variety of sectors, including: retail, construction, manufacturing, marine and sports, but this role will sit specifically within the Yachting Division.
This opportunity boasts a range of excellent benefits, including hybrid working, and presents the chance to work within a rapidly growing company at a time where your contribution will make a huge impact on the success of the business.
Due to this growth, they are seeking a Sales/Business Analyst who will be primarily responsible for assessing performance of the Division in order to make further improvements to processes, systems, and the service as a whole. This is an interesting role that requires exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex sales data and then derive actionable insights aligned with the maximisation of profit.
Other Main Responsibilities Include:
• Monitoring network traffic to gain an understanding of client’s requirements and tailor roaming packages accordingly.
• Analysing often complex data to gain insights into areas of the service that can be improved.
• Producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to highlight these insights.
• Conduct monthly data analysis to formulate account and tariff recommendations for clients.
• Developing visualisations to present this data meaningfully.
• Optimise profits by identifying cost-saving opportunities and margin improvement strategies, providing a detailed monthly profit report.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimise workflows between the Customer Service and Sales team, increasing overall efficiency.
• Liaise with the Sales team to maintain an updated internal CRM system.
• Monitor KPIs and track sales performance against targets. Generate reports to provide actionable recommendations for the Sales team.
• Effectively communicate sales updates and recommendations to Yacht Sales Managers in the form of regular reports that are focused on optimising sales performance.
• Advocate continuous improvement by refining sales account management processes to drive efficiency.
• Prepare marketing material in the form of customer PDF proposals to demonstrate the value of the contract.
As mentioned, strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data is absolutely crucial. You will need to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, most notably in Excel, with previous experience in either a Sales Analyst or Business Analyst position. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary when distributing reports and insights across departments, and a passion for leveraging data to drive sales growth is also key.
