A fantastic day filled with glamour, great company, and most importantly, raising awareness for young carers and the amazing work they do. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make the event such a success. Together, we’ve shone a spotlight on the challenges young carers face and the difference we can all make.

Minister for Sentencing and Youth Justice, Jake Richards MP, visited Oldham Youth Justice Service at Positive Steps to speak to children involved in our Turnaround Programme.

Turnaround is a Ministry of Justice funded programme which provides support to children at the earliest stage to prevent them from entering the criminal justice system. By re- engaging them with their communities, broadening their horizons, focussing on their health and education, and working alongside their families, children can achieve positive change, away from statutory contact with services.
