Today is World Menopause Day 💜
At Positive Steps, we want to eliminate the taboo from the menopause. We believe that by raising awareness and encouraging conversation on the topic, we can break down stigma and create a more supportive environment for all.

It was wonderful for the Oldham Young Carers Team and our Positive Steps colleagues to attend this special event hosted by Team Hill Trust, celebrating our amazing Young Carers community. 💜🌟

We’re incredibly grateful to Team Hill Charitable Trust for their continued support of our Young Carers Service. Their generous donations help us provide opportunities, activities and positive experiences for young carers across Oldham.

We’re so proud of Nickie and Mia and the fantastic work they do! 👏💜It’s great to see this great video showcasing the importance of listening to children, young people and families, building trust and making sure their voices are heard. We’re proud to be part of the Families First Partnership and to be supporting families across Oldham. 🌟🙌

Young people’s ideas and interests are helping us create opportunities that are meaningful to them. 💜 Listening to what they want to explore means we can connect them with new experiences, people and opportunities that support their goals and future aspirations. ✨

This is another example of how listening to young people and acting on their feedback can open doors to something new. 🙌
