Come along to our monthly social event on Thursday, enjoy a cuppa and take part in a free craft activity. This month it's 'Make a Bloom', great for brightening up your windowsill.
The monthly event is also attended by local support organisations so if you need help with an application or advice we may have someone here who can help. Adult Learning will also be in attendance and will be able to give you information about their courses for 2026.

FREE 'Make a Bloom' CRAFT SESSION! Thursday June 4th.
Come along and make a bloom to brighten up your windowsill! No need to book -just drop in (10.30-12.30). These free craft sessions are a great addition to the monthly Pickering Community Cafe. There will also be free refreshments and the opportunity to talk to local organisations.

We are pleased to announce that AgeUK will be joining us at our monthly Community Cafe on June 4th.
AgeUK can offer advice and information, as well as signposting to other local services if needed. They can help with Benefit Entitlement Checks, assist with applying for disability benefits, advise on gas, electricity and water, and other billing issues.
They can also assist with Power of Attorney and Will Writing.
So if you need to talk to someone about any of these issues come along to the library on June 4th.
