Today we have started to update you with our recent incidents. We still have 21 more to post and two recent training exercises.
We thank you for your patience, we have some pictures that need to be authorised by our area management team before use.
We would also like to thank all the members of the public who have interacted and also assisted us when requested, on some of our incidents over a very very busy two weeks for the team.

📟 Investigation and Information Gathering.
📍 Boscombe Pier West

Tasked by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to investigate a 999 call made by a member of the public in reference to items unattended on the beach. Just before leaving the station the JRCC made contact with the OIC (Officer In Charge) and they were then informed that the FIF (First Informant) had confirmed that a group of people had returned to the items. The team, stood down with thanks. This was a false alarm with good intent.

📟 Casualty Care and Evacuation
📍 Sandbanks Beach

Tasked by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to the above location to assist RNLI Lifeguards with a casualty suffering a medical emergency. Once on scene and with assistance from Southbourne Coastguard. RNLI Lifeguards transferred the casualty into our care. We continued Casualty Care and requested a South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust ambulance to attend. Once paramedics arrived, we handed the casualty into their care, to then be transferred into the next level of appropriate care. A small debrief was held on scene before all CG assets were thanked, stood down and returned to their respective stations.

📍 Bournemouth Pier East

Requested by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to assist Dorset Police alongside Southbourne Coastguard Team with an incident at the above location. Our team entered at Branksome Chine and carried out a search with WSAR capabilities. The incident was resolved, both teams thanked and subsequently stood down to return to our station.

📟 High Risk Missing Person
📍 Rockley Point

Whilst finishing incident #054 the team were approached, in reference to a high risk missing person. With the individual last seen in the area a short while ago, the team carried out an immediate hasty search. The OIC (Officer In Charge) liaised with the FIF (First Informant), JRCC and requested additional support from Kimmeridge Coastguard Team and the possible re-launch of RNLI assets. During this search, the High Risk Missing Person was located, the search teams carried out DIST protocols and returned the individual back to the FIF on scene with our OIC. The individual was checked for any medical needs once reunited with family, with no requirement of casualty care, the family left the scene to return to their home address. A debrief was carried out on scene along with Kimmeridge Coastguard Team members who had arrived on scene. After the debrief, all CG assets were stood down with thanks and returned to their stations.

📟 Investigation and Information Gathering
📍 Rockley Point

Tasked by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to the above location after RNLI Swanage ALB and RNLI Poole LB had escorted a RHIB that had suffered a mechanical problem just off Old Harry Rocks. Once alongside at Rockley Point, the team liaised with the LB crew, individuals and Security Staff from Haven Rockley Park Holiday Park. The individuals did not require medical assistance and were subsequently returned to their accommodation at the Park by the security staff. The team carried out a small debrief on site, where they were approached by a distressed individual who reported a high risk missing person.

📟 Casualty Care and Evacuation
📍 Bournemouth Pier West.

Tasked by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to an individual suffering a medical emergency. Once on scene the casualty was with officers from Dorset Police and RNLI Lifeguards. Shortly after us a South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust ambulance arrived. Our OIC (Officer In Charge) liaised with the ambulance crew and with the casualty now in their care, our assistance was no longer required and we stood down returning to our station.

📟 Investigation and Information Gathering.
📍Port of Poole

Requested by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre to the above location to meet a vessel that had recovered a person from the water, that was involved in an incident in Durlston Bay. Once on scene the individual had been taken to Poole Hospital. Information was passed by the vessel's skipper and with JRCC content, we stood down with thanks and returned to our station.

Tasked by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre alongside Southbourne Coastguard Team to assist Dorset Police and South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust with an incident east of the above location. Once the incident was resolved, we were thanked, stood down and we returned to our respective stations.
RNLI Mudeford Lifeboat was also in attendance.
