Now guess what?

Labour and the Conservatives are suddenly talking about it too.

Good — because residents need action, not warm words.

We’ll keep pushing for better local NHS services. 🔶

Too much fly-tipping. Too few fines.

Over 2,000 fly-tipping incidents were reported in Trafford last year.

Only 72 fines were issued.

That is not good enough.

The Lib Dem plan:

✅ community skips and pop-up recycling days
✅ targeted CCTV in fly-tipping hotspots
✅ back Lib Dem plans to raise fly-tipping fines to £2,500

People who dump rubbish illegally should face real consequences.

Cleaner streets. Zero tolerance. Demand better for Trafford.

And too often, residents are left waiting weeks — sometimes months — for Trafford Council to clean it up.

Hello Trafford, we just wanted you to know…

Trafford Council’s debt is around £427 million.
That’s a huge debt.

Higher debt. Higher council tax. Services still not good enough.

Trafford deserves better.

If they can’t repair the potholes, are they just filling them with yellow paint now?

This is Westgate in Ashton upon Mersey, where the Council has repainted double yellow lines over broken tarmac and potholes.

Really poor.

Our local team has reported this, along with the many potholes on this road.

And it does make you wonder: what are the three Labour councillors in Ashton upon Mersey doing about it?
