With temperatures forecast to reach 33 today, we’ll be closed to all walk ins. Our team will be focusing entirely on the comfort, safety, and welfare of the animals in our care, ensuring every pet stays cool, hydrated, and stress free during the extreme heat.

Happy home day Whisky!

This beautiful little girlie is on her way to her new home to enjoy wonderful adventures and make fantastic memories with her new Mum and Dad.

We can't wait to receive updates and photos from her new family and wish them all the fun and excitement they can find.

A massive THANK YOU from all the staff at Blue Cross Thirsk for all of the recent donations of cat food we have received.

Your ongoing help and support is vital to us as we receive no Government funding and rely on the generosity of our followers and supporters to help as many pets in need we can every year.

If you are able to make a donation of cat food to the centre on a regular basis, that would be fantastic and keep the centre going for a long time. If this is not possible, then a box (or two) when you can afford it will also make a massive difference to the cats we have in our care.
