Family Hubs are a new way of bringing together all the support a family may need, from pregnancy through to young people turning 19 (or 25 if they have a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). Family hubs will operate as a network of services within your neighbourhood to provide accessible and connected services and support to all families. These services will work together to provide high

Here is our new Family Activities timetable starting from 1st September 2026.

👶 Baby Massage Classes
Wednesdays at Armed Forces HQ in Scholes, 10.45am - 11.45am
or Thursdays at William Fosters in Ince, 10.45am - 11.45am
This relaxing and interactive 5 week course is a wonderful way to bond with your baby while learning soothing massage techniques. There are still places available on the Wednesday classes which are due to start week commencing 7th September 2026.

🎯 Darts & Games Night
Thursday 3rd September, 5pm - 7pm
Our monthly darts & games club for 8 - 17 year olds. Limited places. Under 13's must have adult supervision.

🍓 Introducing Solid Foods run by the Health Visitor Service - 2 dates available. Monday 21st September at Platt Bridge Linked Site 12pm - 1pm & Wednesday 21st October at Ince Linked Site, 11am - 12pm.

🗣️ Let's Talk with Your Baby
starts Friday 11th September, 11am - 12pm
This fun and nurturing 6 week journey is designed to support your baby’s development through themed play activities and meaningful
interactions.

Are you aware what antenatal support is available to you? Why not come along to one of our 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 antenatal courses!

Sessions are interactive, friendly and relaxed. You are very welcome to attend the sessions alone or bring your birthing partner, friend, or relative along with you.

We have courses available at various locations across the borough, as well as an online course via MS Teams.

There are 4 weeks to each course, week 1 will be an online session via MS Teams, the other 3 sessions will be in person, apart from labour & birth that also has the option of attending online.

*All sessions currently run from 6.00-7.30pm.
*Sessions held at the Meadows will change to 1.00pm until 2.30pm on Thursdays starting from 26th February 2026.
