World Ocean Day 2026

As a Small Island Developing State, Grenada’s future is closely linked to the health of our oceans. Our marine ecosystems support fisheries, tourism, livelihoods, biodiversity, and the resilience of our coastal communities.

This World Ocean Day, we are reminded that protecting our oceans is not only an environmental responsibility, it is an investment in our nation's sustainable development and climate resilience.

From reducing marine pollution and safeguarding coral reefs to promoting sustainable use of our marine resources, every action contributes to a healthier ocean and a stronger future for all.
